A short but very tough race. Started off up a steep tarmac road then turned offroad up a hill. Single file at the start so forced to walk (luckily) but once on top there was room to pass people. Once we got to the summit we turned right and ran straight down the side of the hill - no path, just straight down. It was then muddy round the bottom before clibing back up (had to walk bits, too knackered).
Going back down was steep and muddy - the XTalons were a good choice. There was a flat bit along the taff trail and then a long long climb back up to the top, again I had to walk a lot of it, and then a final run down to the finish.
Very enjoyable!
Only cost £5 too.
